Sin City: Recut, extended, unrated!

Ég veit ekki með ykkur hin, en ég var persónulega mjög vonsvikinn yfir Sin City DVD útgáfunni sem kom út fyrir stuttu síðan. Hljóð- og myndgæði voru að vísu stórkostleg, en aukaefnið svo slappt að því verður varla með orðum lýst.

Nýja útgáfan sem kemur út 13. des (á amerísku svæði a.m.k. – er ekki alveg klár á íslenska deginum) stendur allavega vel undir væntingum safnarans, og rétt rúmlega það. Ekki aðeins er um að ræða pakka sem inniheldur bæði bíóútgáfuna og lengdu útgáfuna (með viðbættum 23 mínútum), heldur er aukaefnið svo troðið og fjölbreytt að það er ekki mögulega hægt að kryfja eina kvikmynd eitthvað nánar. Jafnvel er boðið upp á þann möguleika að fá að skoða hverja sögu út af fyrir sig (The Hard Good-bye, That Yellow Bastard o.s.frv.) í stöku formi (með viðbættu senunum, að sjálfsögðu).

Já, þessi pakki er svo sannarlega blautur draumur fyrir hvern DVD safnara og þá sem fíla Sin City-fyrirbærið í heild.

Til að útskýra aukaefnið örlítið nánar, þá kem ég bara með beint afrit af þeim lista sem sýnir efnið sjálft eins og það verður á pakkanum – frekar en að vera að þýða allt saman yfir á íslensku (hvað er annars gott íslenskt orð yfir Commentary??)
